A RESHUFFLED Colne side slid to defeat against a well organised Bootle, who took advantage of some defensive slips.
The Bucks went ahead after six minutes when a free-kick into the Colne area found Ben Hodkinson who got behind the Reds defence to score with a well placed shot.
Colne came close just two minutes later when Charlie Russell rattled the Bootle crossbar.
