■ THE points were shared in a lively contest at The Scholars Ground.
Chasetown looked the more likely to break the deadlock after a slow start with Joey Butlin’s downward header forcing a good save.
With their first serious attack though, Spalding broke quickly and a cutback to Scott Floyd was side footed beyond Curtis Pond.
The Scholars were level after 74 minutes when Jack Langston converted from the penalty spot after a high boot.
Substitute Nehemia Zazi restored the advantage moments later, however from a tight angle.
