■ SHEPSHED produced one of their best performances of the season to overcome Halesowen.
The hosts knew it would be a tough task, but grit and determination throughout the squad prevailed.
Matt Melbourne should have scored after seven minutes, but saw his strike hit the bar.
He made amends after 20 minutes, however, to put his side ahead.
The Yeltz pressed and had chances to extend their lead before the break, before Melbourne doubled the advantage mid-way through the second half.
