COVID-depleted Frickley were beaten by a workmanlike Hebburn Town in the fog at Westfield Lane.
The visitors started brightly, and hit the upright in the 27th minute.
Frickley’s first real chance came a minute before the break when Brad Wells’ cut back just avaded Michael Hollingsworth.
The second period started with Wells’ strike shaving the top of the bar.
