A FIXTURE played in thick fog for the entire 90 minutes saw Shildon justify their top-three position in the league.
However, this was by far top-versus-bottom game, and Pickering matched the visitors man for man, ball for ball, throughout, especially in the first half.
It was only the clinical finishing by Shildons’s Dean Thexton that split the sides.
