Colls get their Blues revenge

WHITBY are without a league win in 2022 as they drop away from the NPL Premier play-offs.
Three of the four matches without victory have been at home where they were beaten by two first-half strikes by a hard-working Atherton.
Just one goal separated the sides in Whitby’s favour at the start of the season when the sides last met, but Colls were intent on revenge. They were awarded a soft penalty on 13 minutes and skipper Danny Lafferty showed none of that generosity with a clinical finish down the middle.
