BOOTLE took this game by the scruff of the neck in an exciting second-half display.
It followed a first half controlled by the home team who had taken a 1-0 lead after Godwin Abadaki had tapped in a cross from the left.
Whatever was said to the Bootle side at half-time, they came out revitalised.
