■ SPORTING Khalsa won a closely-fought contest by a single goal, but had their goalkeeper to thank for holding on to the three points.
Neither team could muster a clear opportunity in the fi rst half, although James Mc- Grady forced Belper’s Lewis Gwilliams into an early save.
Josh McKenzie shocked the visitors when his shot from the corner of the box eluded Gwilliams and in.
