■ LIVERSEDGE turned it on in front of a record crowd of 1,557 to destroy neighbours Ossett United.
Joe Walton opened the scoring inside four minutes with a powerful header and Allott made it two on the stroke of half-time when he turned home Nicky Walker’s cross.
Walker turned scorer early in the second half after breaking past the Ossett defence.
Jack Hardacre got in on the action firing off the far post.
