■ AFTER an uneventful first half, Stamford took all three points with an accomplished display in the second period.
James Blunden saw a header well saved from a Connor Bartle corner. Jack Duffy had a shot well blocked and Tendai Chitiza shot over when well placed.
Bartle’s long throws were causing panic in the Shepshed defence and one was headed down to Jonny Margetts to hook a shot into the corner on his debut. He could have had another moments later, heading wide from a corner and then rattling the bar.
