PRESCOT Cables made it four wins on the spin as Kevin Lynch’s side edged closer to safety.
But they were made to work hard for their victory by a spirited Newcastle Town side.
Cables led through Sam O’Halleron after 24 minutes when he swooped on a loose back pass and slotted left-footed into the bottom corner.
