■ TWO goals from Nicky Walker helped Liversedge to victory against Frickley Athletic in tough conditions.
The league leaders were up against a stern Blues team in the wind and rain and saw shots from Lewis Whitham and Walker blocked early on.
They found the lead with a bit of fortune as a Walker freekick from a wide position took an awkward bounce to beat Jordan Pierrepont.
Frickley almost responded immediately when Nyle Blake failed to find the target from inside the box and Josh Scott missed from point-blank range.
