■ PRESCOT Cables snatched a vital win to leapfrog above Colne in the table. The visitors were in front after just one minute. Colne struggled to clear Cables first attack and Sam O’Halleron gave his side the lead
Colne came close when Cables scrambled Tom Dean’s header off the line. And they had a goal disallowed for a foul on the keeper.
The Reds pressed for an equaliser in the second half with Elliott Rokka opening up the cables defence, but disaster struck when a backpass bobbled over Colne keeper Hakan Burton’s foot and roll...
