MICKLEOVER 2 MATLOCK TOWN 1

MICKLEOVER’S derby win over title-chasing Matlock could have huge implications.
For Mickleover, it was more of a cushion against a drop, but for Matlock more points lost on an awful run of just one win in the last eight games to help their title charge.
Matlock began on top, with Ross Hannah and Reece Kendall going close, before Shaquille McDon ald and Will Radcliffe went close for the hosts.
Mickleover took the lead on 26 minutes when Stuart Beavon put home the ball after a Matlock defender had blocked the initial Mickleover shot.
