PERSEVERANCE proved Charlie Lewis bundled in a late equaliser for Histon.
The hosts spurned several early chances and Bedworth’s Harry Wakefield hit the bar, before Histon broke the deadlock after 25 minutes. Keeper Sam Lomax’s fumble allowed Finley Wilkinson to poke home, but Luke Rowe levelled the score four minutes later with a neat header into the far corner.
Wakefield put Bedworth ahead ten minutes later, powering home from close in. After the break, chances came and went for Histon, but the goal their late pressure deserved finally game ...
