■ JOSH HAZLEHURST’S goal proved enough to  earn City of Liverpool victory in a game they dominated at Kendal.
The visitors could have been 2-0 up within the first 15 minutes after opportunities were missed by James Murphy and Josh Quarless, while Hazlehurst saw his effort saved by keeper James McClenaghan. Hazlehurst also had a penalty well saved by McClenaghan.
However, City of Liverpool opened the scoring on 41 minutes when Hazlehurst headed in from a cross into the box.
