■ 1874 NORTHWICH con-tinued their fine form by beating Trafford to complete their first ever league double at their new level.
The home side were all over the visitors and opened the scoring through Sam Hare. A number of blocks saw the ball run to Hare who thumped home a finish from the edge in to the top left corner.
1874 had a goal disallowed on the stroke of half-time with Jack Irlam just failing to beat the offside trap.
Jamie Reed doubled the Greens’ lead half way through the second half, guiding a leftfoot half-volley in off a post.
