■ STAMFORD ran out comfortable winners against a resolute Coleshill at the Zeeco.
The Daniels took the lead after 14 minutes – Joe Burgess’ cross was cleared to Conor Bartle who smashed an arrowlike shot into the top corner. Coleshill equalised soon after half-time when a mistake at the back saw Alex Tomkinson’s shot saved by Dan Haystead only for Kia Tonge to find the empty net.
Stamford retook the lead when Rob Morgan’s throughball found Jon Margetts who was felled for a penalty. Harry Vince made no mistake.
