■ A FLYING start was not enough for Bedworth to force victory.
Itt took less than two minutes for them to take the lead when a Liam Lockett shot was cleared off the line, but only against Soham keeper Tim Jefferies and the ball ended up in the net.
Bedworth should have been home and dry by half-time with the chances they created but could just not find the finishing touch until the 40th minute when a Liam Lockett corner was headed home by Elliott Parrott.
