■SECOND-HALF goals from Oliver Fearon and Ify Ofoegbu condemned Carlton Town to an opening-day home defeat against Ossett United at Stoke Lane.
The visitors had the best chances in a tight first half. Ofoegbu drew an excellent save from Mike Emery before the same player crossed to Fearon who hit the the bar from close range.
The Yorkshire side opened the scoring after 54 minutes when Fearon headed home a Craig Netherthorpe cross and Ofoegbu sealed the win three minutes later when a Kyle Tomlin clearance cannonned off Emery, struck Ofoegbu and nestled...
