KIDSGROVE continue their unbeaten league start as they end Glossop’s unbeaten start to the season.
After a stalemate first half, with neither side troubling the opposition goalkeepers, something had to change in the second.
A brilliant solo run from Jack Bromfield found himself inside the box ready to pull the trigger, but was fouled and the referee gave a penalty. Kyle Diskin stepped up and fired it into the bottom corner, Morgan Bacon the Glossop keeper got a hand to it, but it wasn’t strong enough to keep it out.
