TOP-of-the-table Mossley dropped points for the first time in the season after being held to a draw at home against unbeaten Newcastle Town.
In the first of two bank holiday weekend games, Mason Fawns opened the scoring for the hosts with a fine turn and finish from a Jack Banister ball.
But the visitors hit back in the second half as Jack Van Der Laan converted from the spot after a foul in the area.
