■ GLOSSOP bounced back from a disappointing 4-2 defeat to Hanley Town on Tuesday.
Ramsbottom won a penalty after eight minutes which Michael Fitzgerald dispatched. GNE answered back on the half hour mark as a Keaton Mulvey shot from distance deflected to captain for the day, Louis White, who scored.
Glossop pressure finally paid off as another brilliant corner was whipped in by Sam Barratt with Harry Freedman getting on the end of it to poke home.
A brawl in the final minutes of normal time caused by a push from the Rammy keeper...
