■ A QUICK double in the first half was enough for 1874 to see off Skem’.
1874 captain Matthew Woolley broke the deadlock with five minutes remaining of the first half, his brother Joe sent a low drive back into the box and Matt reacted quickest to tap-in.
Moments later, the lead was doubled, Fenton Green thumped a low effort off a post and in to the back of the net. 1874 were creating a lot of chances in the second
half on the break as Skem attempted to restore parity.
