■United managed to hang TEN-man Long Eaton on for a point at Grange Park despite late pressure from Consett AFC.
Long Eaton went ahead after just four minutes when Jamie Walker’s near-post strike flew home.
However, moments later, confusion in the Blues’ defence allowed Matthew Slocombe to poke an effort home from close to level the score going into half-time.
