■ A PULSATING game ended with Trafford reversing last week’s result on Merseyside, although the home fans had to endure heart-stopping moments.
The hosts took the lead in the 32nd minute when Aaron Fleming volleyed home from close range, but a rare error by Harry Norris allowed James Edgar to equalise.
Debutant Ryan White restored Trafford’s lead two minutes before the interval and a Rob Worrall goal in the 68th minute appeared to have secured the points.
