Sporting Khalsa 0-2 Stamford: Away day joy for in-form Daniels

Goals from Billy Bennett and Ollie Brownhill handed second-placed Stamford an away win at Sporting Khalsa.

GOALS from Billy Bennett and Ollie Brownhill handed second-placed Stamford an away win at Sporting Khalsa.
The day started with Khalsa one place behind their opponents and that order was eventually maintained.
The first half descended into a scrappy game with neither team able to get the ball down and play with any flow.
The Daniels defender Sean Wright almost put his side ahead when his header cannoned off the bar in the fifth minute and Khalsa keeper Sam Arnold made a superb save from the rebound.
