WARRINGTON Rylands put an end to their dismal run of results by beating Whitby Town at a rainsoaked Gorsey Lane to record their first league win in eight games.
The visitors had a great chance to take the lead in the third minute but Harvey Tomlinson dragged his shot wide from close range.
Two minutes later Warrington’s Jordan Mustoe made no mistake as he planted a firm header past Whitby keeper Shane Bland from a tight angle to give the home side the lead.
