After a goalless first half in which the visitors had the best chance when Rhys Hoenes got through on goal.
Harborough won a penalty in the 54th minute when Rhys Hoenes was brought down – James Ireland drilling home. Dereham replied via Ryan Swift, who poked in after 58 minutes.
