Gladiators battle back twice

TEN MAN Matlock refused to lie down as they twice came from behind for a deserved point.
Morpeth’s brighter start was rewarded by a breakaway Sam Fishburn goal on 25 minutes, the on-loan Carlisle striker turning home a cross from Andrew Johnson.
But it had been a tight first half overall, and Matlock came out with renewed vigour, their battling qualities getting their reward when debutant Karl Demidh headed home ten minutes into the second half.
