■ LEEK TOWN bounced back from last week’s defeat with a comfortable victory over Glossop with the strike duo of Tom Carr and Tim Grice sharing the goals between them.
Carr gave the Blues an early lead firing home a rebound after Glossop goalkeeper Ben Chapman had produced a double save from Grice.
Grice himself made it 2-0 after 56 minutes, taking the ball round Chapman and sliding home after being released by Carr’s exquisite pass. The result was sealed after 63 minutes with Carr heading home from close range.
