■ WILL Lloyd’s first goal of the season sparked a thrilling and much-needed win for Newcastle Town at the Red Industries Stadium.
Newcastle dominated the first half, with Lloyd giving them a well-deserved lead after 21 minutes.
Despite their dominance, the hosts would have been disappointed to only take a one-goal lead at the break.
That was quickly put aside, as Nathan Morley doubled the lead soon after the restart.
However, Prescot came back strongly and quick goals for Kyle Sambor and John Murphy saw them draw level.
