‘Brutus’ Styche signs on

MATLOCK Town boss Martin Carruthers reckons he has landed a ‘brute’ of a new signing in experienced striker Reece Styche.
The 33-year-old Gibraltarian international and is known as Brutus by fans of the national side – a nickname having been given to him by coach Julio Cesar for his physical approach.
Now the former Forest Green, Macclesfield, Gateshead, Tamworth, Darlington and Alfreton Town striker has forced his way into Carruthers’ plans after joining the Gladiators from Southern League side Stourbridge.
