■ IN A first half dominated by Corby in their bid for a play-off place, Danny Gordon opened the scoring with a shot from outside the area.
Corby’s debutant centre back Charley Sanders then fired home his team’s second when Sutton Coldfield failed to clear a Corby corner.
Sutton Coldfield had little to show in the first 45 minutes and it was no surprise when Sanders scored his second and Corby’s third with a superb curling shot from the corner of the penalty area.
