GABE GOAL GIVES LIONS FIRST WIN THIS SEASON

GUISELEY secured their first win of the season after beating Basford United 2-1.
There were chances for both sides in the firsthalf. Tom Denton saw a header go just wide of the post for the hosts. Moments later the visitors could have scored when Toby Ritzema saw his effort go just over the crossbar.
Denton would not miss the target a second time, and got his head on to a Callum Chippendale cross to give Guiseley the lead going into the break.
