SAVAGE LEFT STUNNED AS TOWN EASE TO VICTORY

TWO first-half goals saw Morpeth Town secure victory at home to Macclesfield.
Michael Turner and Fenton John netted within the first 31 minutes to ensure a deserved three points for the home side.
Despite seeing plenty of the ball, the visitors couldn’t find a way through and fell behind after 23 minutes as Morpeth found their feet in the game.
Liam Noble’s corner wasn’t cleared at the near post, allowing centre-back Turner to steal in and register his third goal in two games.
