MIKE Burke grabbed the only goal of the game as Trafford edged past Clitheroe.
The hosts had the better of the early exchanges, but it was Trafford who opened the scoring after 14 minutes.
Rob Worrall drove past a defender into the box before pulling the ball back to Burke who chested it past Hakan Burton from close range.
There was very little else of note to happen in a dour Rouse’s header.
