MARSKE lifted themselves out of the relegation zone with a gutsy win against high flying Ashton United.
Marske got off to the best possible start taking the lead on five minutes when Dan Myers and Eddie Church combined to set up top scorer Adam Boyes who hooked the ball home from six-yards out.
Playing against the wind, it was the home side who were creating the best chances. On seven minutes, Donald Chimalilo fired wide and Church narrowly missed the target with his effort.
