Hough’s the hero with late winner

BEN Hough struck late as Warrington Rylands broke Matlock Town hearts in a dour contest to keep up their play-off push.
Rylands’ pressure finally told in the 86th minute when a defensive slip-up gave Hough the chance to beat Saul Deeney.
Proof of the Gladiators’ defensive resolve had been evident early on as Nathan Whitehead and Michael Williams picked up cautions inside nine minutes.
After 23 minutes, Rylands’ Djavan Pedro set up Joe Adams for a shot, but it went inches over the crossbar.
