LEADERS TRIUMPH AS CHIPS BEATEN

CHIPSTEAD’S young side went tantalisingly close to claiming at least a point against league leaders Chertsey before suffering defeat.
Their task wasn’t made any easier by conceding a goal at the start of each half. Louis Degand struck in just the fourth minute when he nicked the ball off the home defence and slotted home.
Jacob Sewell pulled a shot wide and Dan Berry had a shot saved as Chips sought an equaliser.
