CLITHEROE and Runcorn played out a pulsating topof-the-table clash, eventually sharing the points.
Runcorn shaded the first half, and after 40 minutes a short free-kick from inside the Clitheroe half saw a low shot arrow towards the near post, for dangerman Oliver Molloy to steer the ball home. After 56 minutes, Clitheroe’s Sefton Gonzales had his shot headed off the line, and substitute Matty Clarke had two shots whistle close.
