LYE kept their play-off ambitions alive, claiming a narrow victory from a game with few clear-cut chances.
Mikey Taylor’s final touch let Rugby down in the a opening minute before Star re Mayemba gave the visitors the lead ten minutes later, fr heading home from Ben b Billingham’s corner.
Taylor sent another opportunity wide just ahead of the interval and Joe g Palmer doubled his side’s advantage shortly after the restart with a neat finish from Nathan Kabeya’s cutback.
