MICHAEL Clegg admits he has felt guilty at Atherton Collieries’ recent decline – but now he’s back to help turn things around.
The 47-year-old boss is already etched in Colls’ folklore having led the club to three promotions in the space of five years, taking them to their highest ever league position.
Now, having experienced life elsewhere at the likes of Ashton United, Warrington Rylands and then Macclesfield, Clegg is back at where it all started and is looking to propel the club up the pyramid once again.
