Reds see red as Cables cut losses

IT was a game of missed chances and costly errors as Cables secured a vital victory over Ilkeston.
It was ten minutes in when the first clear opportunity of the match fell to Ilkeston’s Jonathan Wafala, but he struck the ball high and wide with the whole goal at his mercy.
A second great chance for the away side resulted in a Cables counterattack and a corner. Colin Daniels made a great low save on the line using his hands, despite not being a goalkeeper.
