Blyth’s new era starts with loss

A 77TH-MINUTE penalty converted in style by Ben Hardcastle proved decisive in a game between two evenly matched sides trying to move away from the bottom of the table.
After an initial feeling out period in which both teams had chances, Hardcastle opened the scoring in the 35h minute firing the ball low into the net from the edge of the area after Blyth had failed to clear a corner.
