PRESCOT CABLES got their first league win since October when they hosted high-flying Ashton United.
The first half was a cagey affair that saw few clear chances or shots on target – both sides looked for a long ball behind the defences without joy.
Ashton’s Darius Osei picked up a yellow for a lunge on Liam Hollett and the sides entered the break goalless and level.
