EMLEY AFC kept on the tails of the top two, with the highest gate in the East Division no doubt helping them overcome relegation-battling Ossett United.
In a game where Emley were in the ascendancy, Adam Clayton’s goal just before the break was the catalyst for victory.
He was on hand to help the ball home from a corner in the 44th minute, before the Pewits’ fans in the majority of the 602 in attendance carried the side home in the second 45 minutes.
