■WELLINGBOROUGH were given a lifeline at the death against Sphinx.
A goalless first half saw Coventry’s Harry Wakefield hit the bar early on, but it was the second half where the game came to life.
Will Jones beat the offside trap and rounded Jason Alexander to open the scoring after 64 minutes. Iddriss Fuseini hit back for Sphinx.
The same man thought he had won it for the visitors when he picked up a rebound shot and rifled home in injury-time.
But five minutes into stoppage time Lloyd Buckby was brought down...
