JOSH Barnes’ serious injury late on saw Basford United’s home fixture against Lancaster City abandoned, minutes after the visitors had scored another to make it 4-0.
The Dolly Blues started brilliantly and had multiple chances early, with Saul Deeney making fantastic stops to deny Charlie Bailey and Marcus Cusani early on.
The Basford goalkeeper couldn’t keep them out forever though.
