MATTHEW Fearnley’s third goal in four games ensured a share of the spoils for play-off chasing Hyde United after a busy showdown against struggling Whitby.
Both had chances aplenty to score more than the one apiece they managed, though the visitors will be happier emerging from Project Solar Stadium with a point banked following consecutive defeats.
Whitby’s Matthew Tymon reacted quickest to fashion the game’s first opportunity 12 minutes in, but fired over the bar from six yards out.
